Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers cozy rooms with heating to keep you warm after chilly walks and drinks. The porch on the 2nd floor is a nice touch, but the views can be somewhat blocked. Service is incredibly accommodating, except for some unhospitable instances. The location is breathtaking on a hillside overlooking Zurich, close to nature trails. The dining experience is delightful, but more options would make it even better.
The hotel offers a wonderful stay with pristine, excellent rooms and welcoming service. The location is superb, overlooking Zurich and the lake, offering a relaxing atmosphere. Dining is outstanding with plenty of options, although some staff could be more relaxed. The facilities are well-prepared and enjoyable.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with some positives like the fresh mountain air and spectacular views, but let down by cleanliness issues and lack of proper service communication. The dining options are high calibre, catering well to health-conscious guests. The location is great for its views but lacks the expected Swiss cleanliness standards.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were in the new wing, facing the trees at the back, and had a noisy atmosphere since they were above the restaurant. However, the balcony was a nice touch, especially during hot days in Zurich. The location offered a top view of Zurich and the lake, but it wasn't conveniently located next to the elevator to the parking lot.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and slight inconvenience. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and offered great bathrooms, which made the stay very nice. However, the rooms felt a bit stuffy as if overly heated. The service was friendly and accommodating overall, with some staff going out of their way to assist guests. The location, while not in the heart of downtown, provided a beautiful view of Zurich city. The dining experience was nice, but the staff could have been more cheerful. The facilities were adequate, making for a pleasant stay.
I absolutely loved the modern vibe of the new building, but the rooms were a letdown. They were furnished in a very disappointing IKEA-modern style, not too comfortable or welcoming. Despite not having air conditioning, it wasn't a big issue during my stay, but the constant smoke was off-putting.
